Welcome to DCU-Camping Flyvesandet Strand

Stay with a view over the water
If you love being with nature in all its glory, and going for walks along the water or in the woods, then DCU-Camping Flyvesandet Strand is the perfect place for you. You can stay in waterfront cabins with unobstructed views of the water. DCU-Camping Flyvesandet Strand is also located right next to a lovely, child-friendly beach and Agernæs, which is known for its rich bird life.

Go on an excursion to Æbelø
Make a packed lunch and take a detour to Æbelø with its wild nature. Here you can see sea eagles and fallow deer. Remember to follow the good advice and rules regarding access to the island.

Odense: a wealth of experiences
If you need some city life, Odense is a 40–45 minute drive away. Odense offers a wide range of experiences, including the H. C. Andersen House, the Funen Village, the Danish Railway Museum, or the city centre with its many shops. You can also drive to atmospheric Bogense.

Visit the new Camping Outdoor Museum
Plan a day full of experiences: Drive to Egeskov to visit the new Camping Outdoor Museum, which is the first of its kind in Europe and just an hour’s drive away.

Fun for both children and dogs
If you have a dog with you, let it loose in the dog forest and have a chat with other dog owners. You can safely let the kids loose everywhere on the campsite – and let them let off some steam on the playground with the large bouncy castle and other fun play equipment.

Enjoy the barbecue and community at the campsite
Shop for some good food in the campsite’s shop. Enjoy in the tent or in the new kitchen/dining area, from where you can also access the new outdoor barbecue area. There are many fun and popular activities for children all summer long.
